Hannah and Logan’s The Kelley Farm wedding in Bonney Lake, Washington was basically the perfect combination of a beautiful Pacific Northwest summer day, sweet emotional moments, an incredibly fun couple, and, most importantly, COWS. Yes, cows. And yes, we absolutely ran across the property when we saw them come outside.
From the blue and green details to the personalized touches inspired by their cats, their entire wedding felt relaxed, upbeat, and completely them.
From College Sweethearts to Their Wedding Day
Hannah and Logan were introduced by a mutual friend in college and clicked almost immediately. They started spending pretty much all of their free time together, began dating shortly after, and have been inseparable ever since.
After college, they survived the ultimate relationship test: moving in with Hannah’s parents for about a year. 😂 They eventually bought a home together in Enumclaw, where they now live with their two cats, Cleo and Dude.
When they aren’t hanging out with their cats, they love skiing, bike rides, traveling, cooking, long walks, house projects, and basically just doing life together.
They originally found me through Facebook and reached out after falling in love with my work—which still makes me so happy to hear.
Getting Ready for a Very Pacific Northwest Wedding Day
Their June wedding started with the most Seattle forecast possible: rain.
We were fully prepared for a rainy wedding day, but somehow the weather decided to cooperate perfectly. We had a few sprinkles that morning before the skies cleared, giving us plenty of time for outdoor photos and video throughout the day.
Then, right around 9 PM as we were leaving?
DOWNPOUR.
The timing could not have been better.
Hannah’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous blue dresses that fit perfectly with the wedding’s blue and green color palette. Against all of the greenery surrounding The Kelley Farm, everything felt colorful and summery without taking away from the natural beauty of the venue.
A Summer Ceremony at The Kelley Farm
One of my favorite things about a The Kelley Farm is how much variety we have for photos and video without having to leave the property.
The historic farm setting, open spaces, greenery, rustic details, and classic Pacific Northwest scenery created such a pretty backdrop for Hannah and Logan’s day.
But what I loved most was how much emotion there was throughout the ceremony and the rest of the afternoon. There were so many sweet moments between Hannah and Logan and their parents, mixed in with tons of laughter and that upbeat energy that carried through the entire wedding.
Basically, my favorite combination: happy tears + chaotic joy.
And Then There Were Cows 🐄
Okay. We need to talk about the cows.
The Kelley Farm has Highland cows on the property, and obviously we were hoping they might make an appearance.
At one point, our team spotted that the cows were outside.
I’m pretty sure there was approximately half a second between someone saying “THE COWS ARE OUT” and all of us running to find Hannah and Logan.
Bride, groom, photo, video, content—we were MOVING.
And it was 100% worth it.
We got Hannah and Logan out there for photos and video with the cows, and it ended up being one of my favorite memories from their entire wedding day. It was spontaneous, hilarious, and exactly the kind of moment I love capturing.
Personal Wedding Details for Cleo + Dude
Even though their cats couldn't exactly RSVP, Cleo and Dude still got to be part of the celebration.
Hannah and Logan incorporated their fur babies into their wedding cake and even created a signature drink inspired by them.
Those little personal details are always some of my favorites because they make a wedding feel like your wedding instead of something pulled straight from Pinterest.
And as a fellow cat person? Obviously, I approved.
An Upbeat Reception Filled With Candid Moments
Once the reception started, the energy stayed high all night.
This is where having wedding photography, videography, and content creation together really shines. While we’re capturing the beautiful, polished moments, we’re also looking for everything happening around them—the reactions, dance floor chaos, tiny interactions between guests, and moments Hannah and Logan might not have even realized were happening.
Those are usually the memories that end up meaning the most.

Before we left, I gave Hannah and Logan Polaroids from their wedding day so they had physical photos to take home that night.
I know couples wait so long for their wedding day to finally arrive, so I love being able to give them something tangible before their full gallery and films are ready.
