FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Whether it’s hopping on a plane to meet you at the base of your favorite mountain or jumping in the car to document a place that holds part of your story — I’m always in for the adventure.
Will there be a second shooter?
Most of my photography packages come with a second shooter! I'll only drop it down to one photographer if we need to fit more into your budget. I always recommend having a second shooter to get different angles, and it'll allow you to get me in multiple places at once!
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Yes! I charge $200/hr for extra hours past my contractual time.
What kind of gear do you use?
I’m a Sony shooter through and through — it’s the system I trust to handle fast-paced wedding days, shifting light, and every in-between moment. When I bring film into the mix, I shoot with my Leica for that timeless, organic feel you just can’t replicate.
My editing workflow lives in Adobe Premiere, Lightroom Classic, and Final Cut Pro X. To keep things efficient (especially after a full wedding day), I use Aftershoot to help cull thousands of images before refining everything in Lightroom.
For audio, I run multiple lavalier microphones to ensure vows, speeches, and all the emotional in-between moments are captured clearly and reliably.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, once your gallery is sent, you are able to print your photos however you'd like. But you are always more than welcome to order through me!
What's your editing process?
Photography: After every session, I immediately back up your images to ensure everything is safe and secure. From there, I use Aftershoot to carefully cull the gallery, selecting the strongest moments. Each chosen image is then brought into Lightroom, where I personally hand-edit every photo to ensure consistency, quality, and that signature finish you expect from me.
Video: Once I’m home, all footage is backed up before I begin the editing process. I import everything into Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, organize the timeline, and begin crafting your story — shaping the visuals, pacing, and emotion to create a film that feels intentional and true to your day.
Do you outsource your editing?
Nope — I personally edit every single photo and film you receive. I believe it’s important to be the sole artist behind my work so your gallery and film feel cohesive, intentional, and true to my style. Nothing is outsourced.
How do we book you?!

Dates are first come, first served — I can’t hold anything without a signed contract + retainer.
Do you require a retainer?
Yes! A non-refundable retainer officially reserves your date. The remaining balance can be split into manageable payments so it feels way less scary. Everything is due a month before the wedding to ensure the day goes off without a hitch!
What’s your turnaround time?
Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 6–10 weeks, and your content creation files will be in your hands within 48 hours.

What is your photography style?
My style blends candid wedding photography with light and airy editing.
I lean heavily into documentary storytelling — capturing real emotion, natural movement, and authentic connection — while still providing gentle direction when needed so you never feel awkward.

Do you offer discounts?
Yes, I offer 5% for teachers, first responders, and military. Only applicable if your rate isn't using any other promotion.

Can we pick the music you use in our final video?
Yes and no… I always want to make sure I license my music properly, so if your songs are licensable, of course, I’ll do my best to use it! If not, I always pick music that matches your genre and vibe.
I do always ask what your music preferences are in your pre-wedding questionnaire, so you will have some say.
